Welcome to the Children & Youth Group at Church of Ascension, where we believe that learning about God should be as fun and vibrant as the children we teach.
Our ministry is dedicated to the youngest among us, from birth through Pre-K, offering a nurturing first step on their spiritual journey.
Sunday Children’s Programs
Little Lambs Nursery and Sunday School for Infants-PreK-4
Little Lambs is a preschool program dedicated to sharing the love and knowledge of God with the youngest among us. This mini ministry offers the building blocks of faith through age-appropriate lessons, creative crafts and biblically related movement songs.
Kids Church for Kindergarten-Grade 5
Kids Church is a program designed for elementary children to continue building their spiritual foundation through a combination of worship and play. They will connect with their faith through video lessons, lively discussions, prayer, music, hands-on crafts, and friendly fellowship.

Activities and Learning
Christmas Play
Children from toddlers to teens are invited join our COA Kids Theater to help share the most wonderful story ever told, the birth of Jesus! The play is performed at a 10am service in December.
Our amazing teachers undergo background screenings and complete the Diocesan Safe Guarding God’s Children courses to provide a secure environment for little ones to spiritually flourish, make friends, and begin to walk the path that God has planned for them.
