Life Group
High school is a pivotal time for young adults, filled with questions about identity, purpose, and faith.
At Church of Ascension in Clearwater, our High School Life Group is designed to meet these challenges head-on, providing a supportive and engaging environment where students can explore their faith, discover their gifts, and make a tangible difference in their communities and beyond.
Deepening Faith
Our High School program is more than just a youth group; it’s a journey towards a mature relationship with Jesus. We delve into the Bible, tackle tough questions, and seek to understand how faith intersects with the real world. Our goal is to empower students to take their faith to the next level, living out the teachings of Jesus in their daily lives.
Serving Together
Service is at the heart of our High School Life Group. We believe in putting faith into action, whether that’s through feeding the homeless, participating in mission trips, or engaging in local outreach projects. These experiences not only help those in need but also foster a sense of purpose and community among our students.
Building Community
Friendship and fellowship are key components of our High School ministry. Through regular youth group meetings, social outings, and special events, students have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with peers who share their values.
Our activities are designed to be fun, meaningful, and inclusive, offering something for everyone.
Get Involved
Youth Group
Our High School Youth Group meets weekly, providing a mix of worship, discussion, and fun. From beach trips to escape rooms, we offer a variety of activities to engage and connect our students.
Outreach Projects
We’re committed to making a difference, both locally and globally. Our students have the opportunity to participate in outreach trips and service projects, such as repairing homes in Appalachia or working on reservations in Wyoming, that challenge them to live out their faith in tangible ways.
