Life Group
Transitioning into young adulthood comes with its own set of challenges and discoveries.
At Church of Ascension, our Middle School Life Group is tailored to meet these unique needs, offering a space where students can explore their faith, connect with peers facing similar situations, and engage in discussions that are relevant to their lives.
Discovering Faith Together
Youth of Ascension is a ministry for Middle School and High School students, designed to help students grow an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Youth Group Meetings
Every Sunday from 5-7pm we meet, with the first hour being dedicated to fellowship, food and fun activities. Our last hour focuses in on spiritual formation with a dynamic and interactive time of prayer, worship and Bible study.
Building Community and Friendships
Monthly: There are several monthly opportunities to serve those in need in our community.
Quarterly: At least once a Quarter we offer a fun off campus outing, or a unique on campus experience. These are fun, low-pressure events, perfect for inviting new and first-time friends.
Yearly: Every summer we offer a camp, either as a pilgrimage or retreat for spiritual formation, or as an outreach to go serve those in need.
Youth Group and Outreach Projects
Youth Group
The Middle School Youth Group is a place of fun, fellowship, and growth. Meeting again in September, our gatherings include lunch, outreach activities, games, and local outings designed to strengthen bonds and create joyful memories.
Outreach Projects
Our middle school students participate in various outreach activities, from summer bonding trips to service projects like the Angel Tree and cooking for Thanksgiving dinner. These projects not only serve the community but also instill a sense of purpose and compassion in our students.
