Steps to Baptism
Here’s how to begin the journey towards Baptism at Church of Ascension:
Initial Inquiry
STEP 01
Contact the Parish Secretary to express your interest in Baptism and to learn more about the process.
Sponsorship
STEP 02
Choose one or more baptized persons to sponsor the candidate, signifying support and commitment to their Christian journey.
Pre-Baptismal Conference
STEP 03
Arrange a meeting with a clergy member to discuss the responsibilities and significance of Baptism.
Ceremony Planning
STEP 04
Coordinate with our staff to schedule and plan the Baptism ceremony, typically held during our Sunday Worship Service.
